    Research and Teaching Interest

    Integration design, controller development, simulation and experimental evaluation of power-train in electric vehicles including battery electric vehicle, hybrid electric vehicle and fuel cell electric vehicle; Control strategy and systematic optimization of power-train in hybrid electric vehicles; Research and development on battery management system; Algorithm study on SOC/SOH of batteries and available range in electric vehicles; Development of information monitor and fault diagnosis system in electric vehicles.

    The first prize of Henan Science and Technology Award for the work on the development of pure electric bus power-train in 2014, Ranked at the second place.

    The first prize of Henan Science and Technology Award for the work on the development of hybrid bus power-train in 2013, Ranked at the second place.

    The second prize for the Best Paper Award, 2015 for the published article “evaluation of Lithium-Ion Battery Equivalent Circuit Models for State of Charge Estimation by an Experiment Approach” awarded by MDPI press.
