To deepen the reform of undergraduate talent cultivation models and improve the collaborative mechanism for cultivating top-notch innovative talents, on May 11, a delegation led by Xiao Xiong, Party Secretary of Xuteli School / School of Future Elite Technology / TeLi College at Beijing Institute of Technology, and Xiao Xuan, Executive Dean of the same institutions, visited our school for exchange and research. The meeting was chaired by Xi Junqiang, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering.

At the meeting, Dean Xi Junqiang first presented an overview of the school's disciplinary development, faculty team, and research platforms, with a particular focus on the educational philosophy, distinctive programs, and practical outcomes in undergraduate talent cultivation. Subsequently, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussion and experience sharing on the topic of "undergraduate talent cultivation."

Both parties agreed that this exchange has enhanced inter-institutional understanding. Going forward, they will further establish a normalized communication mechanism, deepen practical cooperation, and jointly promote the continuous optimization of the independent system for cultivating top-notch innovative talents, as well as the steady improvement of education quality.
