    Research and Teaching Interest

    My research is focused on the quality control in manufacturing process and Intelligent manufacturing. Quality modeling of the complex manufacturing system especially for the multistage manufacturing process is put forward by state space equation and error spectrum method, and such wavelet analysis and empirical mode decomposition are used as tools to pick-up error features of assignable causes and discern them to achieve the robust manufacturing process for small batch production. Now assemble error control for precision product in assemble process is one of my research direction. Intelligent manufacturing research mainly concerns about digital manufacturing, in which a unified data model is used for the integration of the design and manufacturing process, knowledge components in knowledge engineering has been used for fixture design. How to improve design intelligent level is one of my main interests in this area now.
