On January 16, 2023, Phase #2: Energy & Power E Station: Academic Salon was successfully held at the Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Cryogenic Institute").

Professor (Prof.) Lin Shi, the director of the National Quality Course of "Engineering Thermodynamics" at Tsinghua University and a well-known educator in China, was invited to speak at this salon under the theme "Teaching Experience Exchange Meeting." Moreover, Asst Prof. Ran Tian, the top honoree in the Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young Teachers at Beijing Institute of Technology, was also the keynote speaker. Prof. Jun Shen (Director of the Cryogenic Institute), Prof. Mingjia Li (Deputy Director of the Institute), Assoc. Prof. Xu He (Deputy Director of the Engine Research Institute), and Assoc. Prof. Song Panpan (Deputy Director of the Department of Energy and Power), attended this event.

At the beginning of the activity, Prof. Shen warmly welcomed the arrival of the keynote speaker and the participating teachers, and then briefly introduced the overall situation of the Institute. She said she would continue to focus on the development needs of the college's young teachers and promote the " Energy & Power E Station: Academic Salon " to become an academic exchange and innovation platform by holding various academic exchange activities.
